The Pink Denim you Need this Spring

Happy first week of April you guys! So lately, I've started seeing a whole lot of gorgeous pastel dress suits, and although I’m yet to style one on myself, I couldn't help but think of them when I saw these powder-pink boyfriend jeans. Usually, when I wear boyfriend jeans, I envision a dark wash or even light wash, but I would NEVER have in a million years picked up these pink ones and I’m so glad I did.  Now they have me side-eyeing my regular boyfriend jeans.

 I wore them around town and got so many compliments and inquiries, asking where I got them. Of course, I went ahead and suggested how perfectly they paired with a simple graphic tee, white sneakers and my army-green puffy jacket (as mentioned in my last blog post). Initially, I never would have thought these two colours would go well together and they actually do. I also like how my puffy jacket adds the perfect finishing touch to the look! Here's the thing, since starting to experiment with colours and putting looks together; I realize I like to try making the look stand out while remaining somewhat casual. I think it's because I’m a total newbie, but maybe a few years down the road it may be my signature style, but hey, only time will tell!

What I want you guys to take from this look is, next time try something out of your comfort zone and always play with colours. Sometimes we think something might not work, but we don’t know that until we at least give it a try! xo
